Entry to the 2019 ballot
Ballot places to join the 2019 On The Move team are now open! If you’re interested in joining the On The Move team, running either the MK Half or Full Marathon and raising £500 for the Winter Night Shelter MK or Meningitis Now, now is your chance!
You have until the 15th November 2018 to submit your application to enter the ballot. All successful entries will be notified by email of their place in the team by the 19th November. You can find out more about submitting your ballot entry for a place in the team here.
Once you have been notified by a member of the On The Move administration team of your successful entry to the 2019 ballot, you will need to carry out a few steps to secure your place on the team. Please make sure you have completed these within two weeks of received your ballot place.

As a Mover you’ll have received an email containing a link to sign up for the MK Marathon and claim your free place. As part of sponsoring the MK Marathon, Rightmove have funded all of the places for our Movers to take part, so you’ll have nothing to pay.
Note: The email will come from Rightmove, as opposed to directly from the MK Marathon.
What to do
If you haven’t already done so, you’ll need to click the link provided in the email, and follow the instructions that follow in order to formalise your application to run the MK Marathon.
Once you’ve done this, you can rest easy knowing that your place in the Marathon is secured.
Oops, I haven’t done it!
If you haven’t clicked the link yet, you haven’t received the email, or if you’re not sure, then just let us know and we can check for you. We’re here to help.
This step is very important, and should be the first thing you do – before you start training or fundraising. It’s important to note that you’re not officially signed up to the MK Marathon until you have completed the information on the link sent to you.
So, if you haven’t signed up already, don’t leave it to the last minute – act now. All successful ballot entries have two weeks to complete the stage, otherwise you risk your space being re- entered into a second ballot. So act now and you won’t be left disappointed!
All done! What’s next?
Found the email, clicked the link, and followed the instructions all the way through?
Great! You’re officially an On The Move team member!
The next most important step is to create an account on JustGiving, set up a fundraising page there, and connect it up as part of the On The Move team.
