Run the 2019 Rightmove Milton Keynes Marathon with On The Move
Stand Up and Be Counted
On The Move is a community of movers and shakers, ordinary people that are determined to make a difference, no-matter the odds. And we need you!
On the 6th May 2019 Rightmove will be sponsoring the MK Marathon and MK Half Marathon. Milton Keynes is the home of Rightmove, so we’re really excited about taking part in one of the key sporting events in our local community.
We’re using this opportunity to raise money for an incredible cause close to our hearts: the Winter Night Shelter MK. We are aiming to raise £25,000 for the charity, and we’re looking for 50 team members to join our On The Move family, take part in the race, and help us hit this ambitious fundraising target.
Do you fancy becoming a valued member of the On The Move team and running the Rightmove MK Marathon – wearing the shirt and carrying the flag along with us? You might be up for the challenge of running the half marathon – or even trying your hand at the full marathon. Whatever the challenge – we need you!
So if you’re feeling the love and want to become part of a team that makes a difference, get in touch, we’d love to have you on board.

What we ask from you
In return we ask that you commit to raising £500 towards the Winter Night Shelter. We will provide instructions on how to set up your Just Giving page on successful entry to the team.
We also ask that you take the challenge seriously. Running a marathon, or half marathon, is no mean feat and training is your key to getting round the track in good shape. Research what’s involved, be realistic about your training plan, and where necessary check with a medical professional that you can commit to the distance first.
Finally we ask that you share your journey with us! We’ll be looking for you to provide us with updates on how your training is going, and we’d love to share those stories on our website and on social media, so please be prepared to keep us posted!
